Confidential Computing in Web3: TEEs on Flare

Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs) provide hardware-based guarantees for secure computation, but integrating them into trust-minimized blockchain systems requires careful design. This workshop examines how Flare Confidential Compute leverages TEEs to enable verifiable, privacy-preserving computation within Web3. We will dive into the architecture of Flare's approach, including how off-chain execution inside TEEs can be attested and anchored on-chain, preserving both confidentiality and integrity. Developers will gain practical insight into building dApps that handle sensitive data securely, unlocking new patterns for private DeFi, data marketplaces, and regulated applications.
